Stephen Cyril Ettick Weir in army uniform, in late 1941 or early 1942. He holds an artillery rammer.
The artillery rammer was picked from the battlefield at Sidi Resegh by Brigadier Latham. It was later inscribed and presented to Freyberg by Latham. It is now housed in the Army Museum, Waiouru.
